API Key

Before starting with the SDK, you must first secure your API key from Split Partner App.

Get API Key

To get your API key, follow these steps to ensure it is correct and active:

  1. Log In to Split Marketing: Access the Split Partner App.

  2. Register Product: To get an API key, you need to register your product information with Split Partner App.

  3. Navigate to API Keys: Once logged in, find the API Keys section in the left-hand navigation panel. Click on it to view and manage your API keys.

Test API Key

  1. Register Your Product: Start by registering your product and setting up a campaign to generate an API key.

  2. API Keys Tab: After registration, go to the API Keys tab to obtain your API key.

  3. Use Test Referral Code: To ensure that the Split SDK, initialized with your API Key, is functioning correctly, use "thisistest" as the referral code. This code allows Split to treat the data you send as test data, ensuring it does not impact your actual referral metrics.

  1. Run Test: Click the "Run Test" button to open a test popup and view the results in the popup to verify correct setup and functionality.
